Home-style Mexican Salsa 正宗墨西哥莎莎醬 (Delores Badue 提供) (06/26/14)


Ingredients  食材

3 lg. jalapeno peppers  三大青椒
4 med. Roma tomatoes 四栓羅曼蕃茄
1 can of tomato sauce 一罐蕃茄醬
2 scallions (green onions) 兩支青葱
Handful of fresh cilantro 新鮮香菜一把
1 sm. Yellow onion 小洋葱一粒
1-2 garlic cloves 1-2瓣大蒜
salt and pepper (to taste)鹽和胡椒粉(適量)

Directions 作法

Wash all vegetables before cutting 切挅前, 先洗淨所有蔬菜
Jalapenos- de-seed and cut into small pieces 青椒去子, 切成小丁塊
Tomatoes- cut into small pieces 蕃茄切成小丁塊
Scallions, yellow onions cut into small pieces 青葱, 洋葱切成小丁塊
Cilantro- separate leaves from stem (toss out stems) cut into small pieces
香菜騰出從葉莖, 只留葉片, 切成小塊
Garlic- peeled and finely chop / grate into paste or (use teaspoon of  minced garlic in jar)
大蒜去皮,切碎爐排成糊狀,或若用罐裝蒜末, 則用一茶匙
Mix all chopped ingredients together in large bowl
混合所有的原料切碎後, 一起放在大碗裡
Add salt, pepper and garlic 加入鹽胡椒和大蒜
Add tomato sauce and little water to get consistency you like
加入番茄醬和少許水,調至你喜歡的味道
Chill and serve 享用美食!
